Who you are agreeing with

Milestamp is provided by JMotiveWorks, the trade name it is built under. For now there is a private individual behind that name rather than a registered business; that changes as soon as Milestamp starts costing money, and the company details will appear here then. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

What Milestamp is

Milestamp is a tool for recording, sharing and transferring the maintenance of your vehicle. It is not an inspection body, not a valuer and not a warranty provider. A logbook gives you no rights against a manufacturer, an insurer or a buyer.

What you enter

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
  • Only enter data about vehicles you have control over.
  • Entries written by a participating garage cannot be changed or deleted by you. If something is wrong, contact that garage or contact us.
  • The contents of your logbook remain yours. You can export it as a PDF or CSV at any time.

For participating garages

  • A garage writes only work it carried out itself.
  • A registration is looked up only in the context of a specific instruction from the customer.
  • Every lookup and write is recorded. Access is withdrawn in case of misuse.

Sharing and transferring

A share link is deliberately accessible without a password, so that you can send it easily. Anyone the recipient forwards it to can therefore open the report as well. You can revoke a link at any time. A transfer is final: once the new owner has used the code, the car is no longer in your account.

Availability

Milestamp is provided as it is, without any commitment to uninterrupted availability. There may be maintenance, and something may break. So keep important invoices yourself as well; an export takes a moment.

Liability

As far as the law allows, liability is limited to damage resulting from intent or deliberate recklessness on our part. We are not liable for the consequences of incorrect entries, of a missed service, or of a transaction concluded on the basis of a logbook.

Ending

You can close your account at any time; your data is then deleted. We may end an account in case of misuse, of entering data about other people’s vehicles, or of writing incorrect maintenance entries as a garage.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top indicates the latest version; for far-reaching changes we say so in the app. Dutch law applies to these terms. See also the privacy statement.
